Scenario of the Month #37 -- The Lost Lagoon

“…. I saw a handful of frightful natives on the beach. Apparently they were engaged in some sort of ritualistic sacrifice, and had pushed a small canoe into the lagoon. Although we were still some distance away, I could easily identify the form of a native maiden lashed to the canoe. As I ordered the crew to steer towards the hapless victim, something struck our boat from below, splintering the craft, and casting us all into the water.”
